The car we here offer for sale is one of the last series 1 models that were produced in Ferrari's 250 series. The car is a Ferrari 250 2+2 GTE series 1. The Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 which is offered here, left the factory on 20 November 1961 as one of a total of 299 series 1 models produced. Sold from new in Italy and resold in 1971 to its next owner in Switzerland. From then until 2007 the history of the Ferrari is largely unknown until the car returned to Italy and was serviced by a workshop in Cremona. The car later received a mechanical restoration in June 2008. In 2015 the Ferrari was taken to Belgium where it received a light restoration by Augusta Classics of Ohain. Today it is presented in its factory-correct exterior shade of Grigio Argento with a newly trimmed blue interior and is complete with matching numbers body, Chassis, Engine, gearbox and rear axle.
