1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 351 4v V8 Q-code Cobra-Jet with 3-speed auto transmission. Factory Bright Red with black bucket seats optioned with, Power Steering, Power Front Disc Brakes, NASA Ram-Air hood, Sports Deck rear seat, front spoiler, rear window louvre and Mach 1 decal kit. Factory front 3-point retractable seat belts and rear lap-belts and American Racing Torq Thrust alloy wheels with BFGoodrich radial tyres.
The Marti report we have shows that it was built at Dearborn in December 1971 and in addition was equipped with Centre Console, Instrumentation Group and 3. 25 Conventional Rear Axle.
Completely professionally rebuilt and restored in 2017 to factory specifications and colour at a cost of over £25000 and consequently presents in superb condition. A photo record of the restoration comes with it.
We have further upgraded with new shocks including Monroe Self Adjusting Coil-Overs to the rear.
The re-built High-Power Cobra-Jet 351 performs as it should and the sound through the new dual exhaust system is what you would want to hear from one of the last of the classic Mustangs.
