The Appeal
It is said that every motoring enthusiast should own an Alfa Romeo, and what better car to start with than the Alfetta GT? With its fantastic design by Giugiaro and the extraordinary road-holding afforded by its transaxle layout and rear-wheel drive, an Alfetta is incredibly rewarding to own and we are delighted to offer this truly excellent example.
This car was offered with several engines, and this is one of the less common examples with the 1.6-litre engine, which took advantage of Italy's favourable taxation for engines under 2.0 litres. The lightweight twin-shaft Nord also offered excellent weight distribution, balancing the rear gearbox.
After buying the Alfa in June 2019 from a collector, the seller continued to care for the car and carried out major mechanical work. It is ASI registered and has valid overhaul, which means it is ready to be appreciated.
