The legend of the brand with the chevrons began with the Citroën Type A. During the war, André Citroën was making munitions and quickly realised that when peace arrived, there would be a strong demand for a light car. The Type A finally arrived on the market in 1919, becoming one of the first mass-produced vehicles in France - with production reaching 100 units a day at its peak.
This incredible beige example is brimming with period character and has been lovingly restored by a passionate owner. Its captivating aesthetics, contrasted with deep black elements and an upright stance emblematic of the early days of motoring, are sure to attract many admiring glances.SAVE_20211008_135555 Lydie ACHARD.jpg610.91 KB

✓ We also check whether vehicles are registered as written off as part of a total loss at the time the advert is placed on Car & Classic and provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) to help you. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the status of the vehicle and it is always worth carrying out a full vehicle history check before making an offer on it.
