The Appeal
The Lamborghini DL25 occupies a fascinating position in motoring history. Built by Lamborghini Trattori, Ferruccio Lamborghini's first industrial venture, the DL range helped establish the family name years before the founding of Automobili Lamborghini in 1963. With only around 900 DL25 examples produced, these tractors have long since transcended their agricultural origins to become collectible artefacts of Italian industrial heritage.
This 1958 example has been comprehensively restored and is finished in a two-tone red and grey livery. Mechanically, it has received considerable attention across the engine, fuel system, cooling system and brakes. At its heart is the model's characteristic 1,700cc twin-cylinder direct-injection diesel engine, producing 25 horsepower and driving through a four-speed manual gearbox. The vendor describes it as having great visual presence, and it has been stored indoors and kept as a collector's piece rather than a working machine. Located in Bologna, in the heart of Emilia-Romagna and close to the historic roots of Lamborghini Trattori, this DL25 would suit a museum, showroom, exhibition or vintage event.image.png2.08 MB
