The Appeal
The Mini Marcos was a lightweight, streamlined fibreglass-bodied sports car built around BMC Mini mechanicals, famously becoming the only British car to finish the 1966 24 Hours of Le Mans.
The Mk4, manufactured by D&H Fiberglass Technique, represents the refined evolution of Jem Marsh and Frank Costin's original design, and surviving examples are increasingly sought after.
This French-registered example underwent a thorough mechanical overhaul in July 2025 at a cost of over €1,700, covering the fuel system, ignition, cooling system, suspension, and brakes. The car holds a valid Contrôle Technique and is registered with the Mini Marcos Owners Club.image.png1.23 MB

✓ We also check whether vehicles are recorded as being written off as part of an insurance total loss claim at the time an advert is placed on Car & Classic and we helpfully provide write-off category labels (Cat C/D/S/N) for your assistance. However, the presence or absence of a label does not guarantee the vehicle’s status and it is always worthwhile carrying out your own full vehicle history check before making an offer on a vehicle.
