The Appeal

If you remember the classic 911 Turbos of the 80s, then this 997 will stir some memories. It’s finished in Guards red, a colour that’s rare now but was de rigueur back when the original Turbo was making 911-shaped holes in hedges. It made them easier to find.

Alongside that evocative colour. this early 997 has a desirable spec. It left the factory with the simply named ‘S’ pack that adds the larger 3.8L engine, a power hike to 360bhp, better brakes and the clever PAMS suspension package. The first owner of this car also optioned the Sport Chrono package that adds further driving functionality.

With its classic colour and GT3 rear wing, you won’t miss this 911 coming. It is in very good condition thanks to the care of its four keepers. The mileage is a mere 46,000 miles. The car has been maintained by Porsche main dealers and then, since purchase, by the seller in his own workshop.
