The Appeal
The California was a revelation. Reviewers, including famously picky Jeremy Clarkson, loved it. And with good reason - here was a front-engined 453bhp super GT that could transform at the touch of a button into a car equally suited to cruising around Beverley Hills or the boulevards of the South of France.
This car sports a neat twist on the usual Ferrari red. It is finished in Roso Fiorano, a deep burgundy that really suits the car but was applied to only a few cars. It is matched with a classic ‘Cuio’ tan leather interior with black highlights to seats and dashboard. Thanks to a low mileage of under 40,000 miles from new, it is all in very good order.
The mechanicals are equally well kept, a run of 10 main dealer service stamps augmented by a recent full service by a classic sports car specialist. This work included detailing the engine bay in the correct iconic crackle red finish.
