The Appeal

A testament to its design team, the W113 SL is still as stylish today as it was six decades ago. This 1968 example is particularly fine to look at, resplendent in its timeless dark green over tan, complete with its matching hard top. It's the range-topping 280 model, unusually fitted with a four-speed manual gearbox.

Having undergone a sympathetic restoration with careful attention to original specifications, this Pagoda presents beautifully throughout. It comes with documented service history and benefits from recent mechanical improvements. The Contrôle Technique runs until April 2027, and we're informed that it's ready to enjoy.

Minor traces of corrosion visible underneath, without structural concerns
Complete repaint during restoration in non-original bright green

Some thickness variations and filler traces visible on sills and rear wheel arches
Brown leatherette upholstery in very good condition with even patina
Front seats are comfortable and well-shaped with good foam and intact stitching
Door panels match upholstery, well-fitted without tears or discolouration
Complete and functional dashboard with slight imperfections (small cracks/scratches)
Original gauges with relatively well-preserved chrome and glass
Original radio (cracked)
Clean floor mats and carpets without moisture damage
Hard-top in good order and headlining in very good condition
The vehicle does not have a soft top but still has the roll bars to attach to it
