The Appeal

If you need a reminder of just how BMW made less look more, here it is. The E10 2002 is a masterclass in handsome understatement, and this restored car, with its equally underplayed BMW Chamonix White finish, looks, quite simply, fantastic.

The vendor acquired the car in 2015 and set about a comprehensive restoration using blue chip specialists. The body was stripped to bare metal and repaired by Kidderminster specialist MWS before being finished in that BMW colour. Munich Legends was entrusted with the mechanical overhaul - and who better - and the car now runs a rebuilt 2002 Tii fuel injected 130bhp motor plus an ultra rare 5spd Getrag box. The original engine has been stripped and is included with the car. Munich Legends also fitted adjustable Gaz coilovers so it handles as well as it goes.

With sparing use since completion, this is one impressive car. We love the details, like the refurbished 14in steels, the roof rack and even the classic radio. The passion behind this project is clear and it looks like a proper treat for the new keeper.
