The Appeal
Some buyers want sorted, ready-to-use classics, for others there are cars like this - a solid, complete car that is a straightforward restoration project. This car’s bonus card is that much of the work had already been done - including the hard stuff like the floors and sills.
It is a 1973 B Roadster with the classic chrome bumpers and a very rare fibreglass hard top. The vendor acquired from the previous keeper who had done much of the bodywork. He intended to complete the car, focussing on the mechanicals, but a change of circumstances creates this opportunity for the right buyer.
The joy of a B restoration is that parts and specialist support is unrivalled in the classic world. If you need it, you can get it, and usually next day. With much of the hard graft already done, here is a great chance to create the B Roadster you want, all the while enjoying an interesting project.
The vendor says:
“Car is being sold because the vendor doesn’t have time to take on the project after buying it from an older gentleman who had restored a lot of the bodywork but hadn’t got round to the mechanics.”
