The Appeal
The overwhelming majority of DB9s were fitted with the ‘Touchtronic’ auto box, a relaxing GT touch that tends to disguise the car’s capable sporting nature. That’s why we revere this car, which is believed to be one of only 22 built in RHD with the 6spd manual gearbox.
Classically finished in understated dark grey metallic with a lovely burgundy and walnut interior, it has covered just 48,000 miles in the hands of a mere trio of keepers. They have looked after it exceptionally well, amassing a remarkable 25 service stamps up to June 2025.
The vendor acquired the car in 2014 and has entrusted it annually to specialist Trinity Engineering. The list of work and invoices is considerable, clearly showing that whatever it has needed, has been attended to. The recent service included a raft of other work that brought the total to over £5,500.
This car is a very rare and well specified version of Aston Martin’s well regarded hand built supercar. With its superb history file and advisory-free MOT to June 2026, it is a very collectable and usable example.
