For sale here is a 1962 Daimler SP250 (Dart) "B" Spec Finished in Red with Cream Leather interior piped in Red. Fitted with rack and pinion steering upgrade. Complete with full tonneau cover and hood cover and chrome wire wheels. Absolutely outstanding condition throughout, massive history file including catalogue and purchase invoice from when the previous owner purchased the car in 2012 from Coys for around £40, 000.
Coys at the time described the car as " arguably one of the best Dart's Coys have offered in a number of years. It has been subject to a recent body off restoration. Work included chassis shot blasting before being primed, a new interior, all new chrome and rebuilt running gear." Included in the file are photographs taken during the restoration
According to MoT history the car has covered around 6, 000 miles since being sold at Coys.
Superbly detailed engine compartment. The underside of the car is superb the chassis free from any rust, corrosion and painted not undersealed. Engine and gearbox are excellent, chrome work also excellent. Fitted with a Winkworth Police bell to the front bumper that does work.
