Charterhouse Auctioneers are pleased to offer this item in our upcoming Classic Motorbikes auction on Wednesday the 5th of October 2022
Online and at Haynes International Motor Museum
Constructed in 1958 by engineer and racer Ken Taylor
He was assisted by famous race engineer Joe Potts who also produced a similar machine for the great Bob McIntyre
The frame is more than likely a modified Joe Potts item
The original shortened Norton forks were replaced in period by a set of Ken Sprayson Earles type using Renolds tube
The original combined fuel/ oil tank was also replaced by a conventional alloy type due to fuel leaks
The engine is a short stroke over square 71mm X 63mm twin OHC with twin plug head and outside flywheel as per the works machines
