The 356 B 1600 Super 90 Cabriolet carried a base price of $3, 962 FOB New York, according to a 1960 price list from Hoffman Motors, the New York importer. About $100 more than a new Corvette, the 356 Cabriolets featured a high level of fit and finish and are fantastic all-weather touring cars with exceptional handling. The 1600 Super and Carrera versions were even more costly and featured additional horsepower and other performance enhancements. Built by Reutter in a factory adjacent to the Porsche Works in Zuffenhausen, 356 Cabriolets included adjustable seatbacks, plenty of soundproofing, and a thick, well-lined soft top for a remarkably luxurious driivng experience.
The magnificent 1963 Porsche 356 B 1600 Super 90 Cabriolet featured here is finished in gorgeous Ivory over Tan leather with a Black folding convertible top. This incredible motorcar was just released from over 34 years of single collector ownership. Previously refurbished and with recent servicing, this 356 is now ready for its next caretaker. We are proud to offer this exceptional motorcar to the most demanding collector, investor, or enthusiast who aspires to own one of the very best!
