This specific Rover Mini offers a unique characteristic over most others at this price range. Originally manufactured for the Japanese Market, a limited production run of Automatic, Rover Mini's were produced, with this being one of very few examples to be cancelled, sold and registered domestically in the UK. Presented with a mere 30, 366 Miles (48, 869KM), this example was used as a demonstrator car by 'Starlins of Worcester', a Main Dealership, for its first 5 Months. From then it was sold to a Mrs S Williams (Original Bill of Sale Included), whom was the sole keeper up until 2010, then sold to a family member who contined up-keep for the next 4 years. This Mini was then sold to the current owner, and has been kept in dry storage, maintained and thoroughly cherished to a high standard up to its current day. With a current invoice of £1, 379. 89 on the 6/ 11/ 2024, all very minor issues have been rectified and repaired, allowing for an Advisory Free MOT till 18 January 2027. Bodywork Wise, The ‘Max Mayer British Racing Green’ paintwork, is in brilliant overall condition and paired with the White Roof, Mirrors, Bonnet and Racing Stripes. With a previous restoration at 45, 900 Kilometers, all panels still reflect the high level of work carried out ; very minimal air bubbles from the respray have presented themselves in the paintwork on the drivers rear quarter and front wings. All Trims, Front Spot Lights, Badges and Minilite Alloys are in superb condition, with the chassis showing no signs of corrosion at all.
The Interior is almost factory fresh - in completely standard condition, this Mini features a Black Leather Upholstery with Red Carpets and Piping, paired with a Leather Cooper Steering Wheel, John Cooper Floor Mats, Rev Counter, as well as its original Rover Stereo System. All accessories work exactly and they should, with no mentionable faults in any trim, carpets or seats.
Mechanically the car runs and drives with no issues at all. With any maintenance carried whenever necessary by its current keeper and previous, with invoices to evident. All original ownership manuals and handbooks are present, most notably including the original bill of sale.
With a replacement alternator, catalytic converter, necessary gaskets, various vacuum hoses and a complete full service on the 6/ 11/ 2024 and a full 12 Months MOT, this classic mini is as ready as can be for its next owner.
