Beskrivning
This H2C is the rarest of all the H2 models produced. The purple colour is also the most sought after. Only 3000 of this model/ colour combination were produced and a worldwide total model sales of just 5000. The beautiful original blue H2 model had 16, 000 produced with a worldwide total of 23, 500.
This H2C is largely original, with only the front mudguard and the pipes re-chromed. The mileage is genuine and can be verified with MOTs going back to 1991. The bike was imported from America in 1990. I have copy of original import document and American title. The bike was part of Rick Brett's collection from 1996 until 2003 when I purchased it from Rick. It was the most expensive H2C in Britain when Rick bought it in 1996.
The condition is virtually totally original. Items replaced since I have owned it. Clutch plates, drive chain, tyres and front brakes have been refurbished. Engine has never been out the frame. Starts with 1st or 2nd kick and is a strong runner. Paintwork is totally original and tank has a couple of very minor chips, but this does not detract from the beauty of this machine. Pipes re-chromed and are not marked or been repaired in any way.
This is truly a wonderful example of a piece of 1970s motorcycling history. There are many beautiful shining examples of restored H2s out there, but very few near originals in this condition.
I would prefer buyer to collect.
