The Appeal
It is perhaps no surprise to discover that this remarkable 1999 FLSTC Heritage Softail scooped award after award for several years after it was first customised in 2003. It is one of the most purposeful and evocatively detailed bike's that we've seen in a long while.
As you can see from the photos, this bike is a feast for the eyes - whether your thing is the detailed aesthetics or the elevated specification, this bike is a proper treat.
The list of work includes silver paintwork by Piers Powell, which featuring bespoke riveting, bullet and WWII artwork. This carefully detailed work is accompanied by equally impressive fittings such as the Samson Sidewinder exhaust and shields. Even the stand has a bespoke eagle feature.
The specification includes a Stage 1 carburettor kit with bespoke air filter and upgraded brakes. The bike has featured in Hot Bike magazine. There is a copy in the photos where you can inspect the specification in detail.
The work was completed 21 years ago but with less than 10,000 miles from new, you really would not know. This is a show-standard bike, but one you could ride if you wish.
