The Appeal
If the usual, common German high-performance SUVs all feel a little too, well, familiar, step forward Infiniti’s well-regarded QX70. Offering a stylish alternative to the boxy Germans, plus decent comfort and chassis dynamics, these big luxury SUVs are a canny buy.
This 2016 example is fitted with the reliable V9X 3L V6 turbodiesel engine, which is good for 240bhp. Finished in black with a Kacchu-lined cream diamond stitch interior, it is a very high specification example that was factory fitted with a long list of options.
Despite the relatively high mileage, it is in fine overall condition. There are a few points to note in the photos, which could be lived with or easily rectified. In recent years, we’re told that it has been maintained by AutoKolben Garage, including a recent oil and filter change. The current keeper has used it for regular cross-European trips, which we’re told it excels at. Although fitted with a tow bar, the vendor states it has never seen heavy or towing use.
