The Appeal
If you’re going to build a hot rod, then a Model B is the perfect base. Then, once the work begins it is all about the details. On both points, this very tidy ‘32 firmly scores.
It was meticulously refurbished and converted over a period of 10 years. The work included fitting a channelled fibreglass body with a steel front end. Finished in black with whitewalls, the interior is nicely detailed, featuring an engine-turned dashboard and quilted floors and trim. Beneath the bonnet, with its big leather straps, lies a classic Flathead V8, plus a pair of Strombergs.
This is a really nice, tasteful hot rod that looks as enjoyable to drive as it is a talking point when you arrive.
