1934 MG PA

  • Very pretty car in BRG with Olive Green leather interior

The Appeal

The short-lived PA refined MG’s template for diminutive, low-cost sports cars and paved the way for the better-known T-Type. Produced in small numbers and now very rare, these beautiful little two-seaters are doyens of the trials scene thanks to their stronger chassis and general refinement compared to peers.
This 1934 PA was extensively restored in 2010 and finished with a clear eye on quality and taste. It looks lovely with its mix of BRG paintwork, black wires and Olive Green leather. The condition is impressive thanks to the care of its subsequent keepers.
The current keeper bought the car in 2023 and has added to the history file with a long list of maintenance. In July 2025, it received close to £3,000 of work, including a new stainless steel fuel tank, carburettor overhaul and radiator recore. The thick history file includes the old logbook and a thick set of invoices. The car is also supplied with its original wooden toolbox.
The vendor says:
“The car is a quintessential example of a pre-war British sports car, which evokes endless amounts of nostalgia. Perfect for an unhurried country drive to the pub or picnic.”
