The appeal
The Delage D4 represents an important chapter in French motoring history, being one of the last small-displacement touring cars produced by the marque before its merger with Delahaye. The D4 was aimed at a more accessible market segment than Delage usually catered for. Although sales were modest, the car was nevertheless an impressive achievement. This explains why enthusiasts of the brand still covet the rare surviving examples. Produced only between 1933 and 1935, it is distinguished by its mechanical refinement and typically French elegance.
As the photographs show, this example is in very good condition, benefiting from an old restoration complemented by more recent mechanical maintenance. For those seeking a piece of French pre-war motoring heritage, combining authenticity with everyday practicality, this car represents a rare opportunity. Delage D4s in this condition rarely appear on the market - don't let it slip through your fingers.image.png3.65 MB
