1948 BSA C11 250 cc

Highlights

  • 250 cc engine rebuilt by the previous owner
  • Resprayed to a very high standard
  • Running and riding well

The Appeal

What most don’t know about the humble C11 is that one was once owned by the King of Cool himself - Steve Mcqueen. It’s said that he cherished his little BSA and following his death, it was kept by his widow Barbara for a number of years.
Conceived as a refined commuter bike, the C11 utilised a twelve-horsepower 250 cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine. We’re delighted to offer this charming 1948 example which benefits from a great deal of recent work. The previous owner rebuilt the engine and carried out a high-quality respray. The vendor informs us that it runs really well and is ready to ride.

The History and Paperwork

  • UK road registered from new
