The Appeal
The Austin Healey 100/4 BN1 was the pure, original vision of the "Big Healey" - a powerful, elegant British sports car with a commanding presence and thrilling performance.
This 1953 example stands out for its remarkable ownership history, having been cherished by a Mr H. Callihan from 1957 until his passing in 2015 - an extraordinary sixty-year period of single ownership.
Originating from Southern California, this 1954 Healey has benefited from a dry climate that has preserved its chassis in very good condition. While maintaining its original Carmine Red colour through 2-3 repaints over its lifetime, the car presents with a very nice patina and retains its original seats, offering a rare opportunity to acquire an essentially unrestored example a genuine character no amount of money can buy.
