The Appeal
Volkswagen’s innovative T1 van may have begun life as a purely functional way of transporting people and stuff, but like its Beetle stablemate it has become a design icon. Early split screen vans are very popular, particularly when converted to versatile campers.
This ‘67 split screen appears to have begun life as a van but been converted to a camper early in its life. It is a desirable ‘double door’ van with a well appointed and carefully preserved interior. Together with some useful upgrades it offers a very compelling case for the classic camper enthusiast.
