Beyond the impressive colour combination and condition, it features a raft of upgrades that push it into rarefied TR6 territory. The alterations include a Ford 5-speed gearbox, a Stage 2 head, an upgraded camshaft and electric windows. The exhaust, brakes, suspension, cooling system and steering have all been enhanced. The result is a very usable classic.

This particular TR6 underwent a ground-up restoration between 2012 and 2017, and has been in the hands of its current owner for a decade. During that time, it has benefited from a consistent maintenance regime, with servicing every other year and annual oil and filter changes. Only a few trips down to the coast. I always wanted the mileage to be ultra low. Its perfectly capable of long distances.
