The TR6 was developed under strict financial instructions, and thus wasn't exactly a reinvention of the wheel. Of course, it also didn't have to be. Triumph had cemented themselves as one of the best of the best when it came to the classic British sports car, and the TR6 continued that reputation ably. It's arguably the easiest of its class to own, and still offers pure, undeniably fun driving for the modern enthusiast.
This particular example presents well, having been fully restored in the early nineties and then carefully preserved under dry storage for the past 25 years. With just 6,700 miles added since the current owner's purchase in 2001, this TR6 has benefited from consistent maintenance and thoughtful upgrades while retaining its original character.
