The emergence of Japanese superbikes put the British motorcycle industry under threat in the early '70s, but this period still produced some fine British machines. The Triumph TR6P Trophy is among them. Its 650cc engine and classic British styling have ensured enduring popularity among enthusiasts.
This 1972 example has been in the current owner's possession since July 2008 and has been barn-stored throughout that period. The metalwork has suffered corrosion, but the bike appears highly complete and fairly well-preserved by its barn storage.
