The Appeal
Sustained, buoyant demand for Malcolm Sayers’ pivotal E-Type means that there are few opportunities left for enthusiasts to restore one to their exact requirements. This late-model OTS provides exactly that: a chance to build a Series III to the buyer’s precise colour, specification, and detailing.
Finished in silver over black, this V12 automatic appears to have spent much of its life in Florida, before being imported to the UK. It retains its Florida registration, so will require UK DVLA registration on completion. It is clearly a restoration project that will require mechanical, structural, paint and trim work. We understand that the car is currently not running, so will need to be trailered away.
This is the kind of car that requires a buyer with vision. For them, we suspect the process of getting it back on the road will be as enjoyable as driving the finished car.
