The Appeal
We love the MGB GT. Dare we say it, we find its innovative fast-back design by Pininfarina a trifle more interesting than its open-topped sibling.
This 1978 example is a late-model 'rubber bumper' car, resplendent in British Racing Green and sat on period Rostyle wheels. It has been lowered to the ride height of earlier models - a desirable modification that vastly improves the handling and look of these later cars. Following extensive restoration and refinishing, this is a very presentable example that reportedly drives very well indeed, with its refurbished engine, rebuilt carburettors, and working overdrive.
