The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II refined the accomplished Shadow formula with rack-and-pinion steering, improved air conditioning, and subtler styling updates that lent it a more modern presence. Powered by the venerable old 6,750cc V8 and paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, it remains one of the most accessible ways into Rolls-Royce motoring of the period.
This 1978 example has benefited from focused mechanical attention since its purchase in late 2025, with the engine and carburetors overhauled to ensure it runs properly for regular use. All wood cappings and the dashboard, reportedly in poor condition when acquired, have since been renovated to what the vendor describes as excellent condition, transforming the cabin's presentation. The interior is said to be in very good order with no rips to the seats and decent door panels, carrying an appealing vintage patina befitting a car approaching its half-century. The bodywork has been resprayed from its original Chestnut Brown to Pewter Silver, a color the vendor says draws considerable attention, though the paint could benefit from being redone for a show-standard finish.

"I use the vehicle on local runs as often as I can as it drives nicely and gets loads of attention because of the classy color, but my wife says I don't use it often enough so I have to sell it...
