The Gold Wing was the bike that truly challenged America on its home turf. Nicknamed the 'Japanese Harley', it was a comfortable long-distance tourer with rock-solid reliability.
The second generation saw the arrival of a larger, more powerful engine. This example is an early GL1100, presented in burgundy, and it's a beautiful machine. It epitomises what a Gold Wing is all about: taking to the road and enjoying it.
The current owner tells us that it has always been stored in the garage and well looked after. It is equipped with Krauser saddlebags and top-case, ready for touring.image.png1.88 MB
