The Appeal

And this 1980 example would be a great candidate. It’s a comprehensively restored short-wheelbase Series III which has undergone a great deal of recent work. There are a few sympathetic upgrades, such as the colour scheme, side-hinged rear door and leather bonnet straps. But the Land Rover still retains its period character with its unashamedly agricultural original drivetrain and standard Series III interior.
