The Austin Mini Mayfair offered a step up in trim and refinement over the standard Mini, making it a popular choice for those who wanted the iconic driving experience with a little extra comfort.
This 1983 example has been the subject of considerable mechanical attention, with a comprehensive list of replaced components spanning the carburettor, ignition and charging systems, starter motor, alternator, and rear brake components among others. Finished in a striking 'Jaffa' orange, a repaint from its original baby blue, it cuts a distinctive figure on the road. We particularly like the contrasting white roof, stripes, and wheel arches. The alloy wheels are also a nice addition.
