The Appeal

French carmakers are typically very good at building small, simple cars. Occasionally, several firms have been known to pool their resources in order to create something truly excellent. Here we have the fruits of one of these partnerships: a 1984 Citroën LNA. The LNA and Talbot Samba were both badge-engineered versions of the Peugeot 104, a remarkable little car lauded for its impressive fuel economy and ease of maintenance.

This 1984 example is from the improved LNA range with enhancements over both the original Citroën LN and the first LNA version from 1982. What makes this specific car worthy of serious consideration is its single-ownership history since new, recent professional servicing, and its garage-kept life, resulting in a well-preserved example of a limited-production model.
