- Elegant 1985 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit presented in handsome Oceana Blue Metallic
- Acquired by the seller in 2010
- Reportedly accompanied by a full main dealer and specialist service history

The Appeal
Introduced in 1980, the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit ushered in a new chapter for the marque, succeeding the Silver Shadow while retaining the qualities that had long defined Crewe’s luxury saloons: effortless V8 performance, a famously supple ride, imposing yet restrained styling and a beautifully appointed interior. More than four decades later, it remains one of the most recognisable Rolls-Royce models of its era, offering a sense of occasion and craftsmanship rarely matched by modern luxury cars.
This 1984 example is finished in Oceana Blue Metallic over a cream Connolly leather-trimmed interior complete with rich blue accents and burr walnut inlays. Body-coloured hub caps and whitewall tyres further suit its traditional character, giving the car the formal, elegant presence expected of a Silver Spirit.
Acquired by the seller in 2010 while running a classic car wedding hire business, it was used for approximately 18 months before being taken off the road around 2012 and placed into storage. It is reportedly accompanied by a full main dealer and marque specialist service history, and recent attention has included a professional rebuild of the right-hand carburettor and flushing of the fuel system.
Having spent more than a decade in storage, the car now requires a degree of recommissioning before regular road use, along with some cosmetic attention. Once attended to, it should have plenty to offer as a dignified and highly usable Crewe-built saloon, with the comfort, presence and sense of occasion expected of a traditional Rolls-Royce.
