The Appeal
The R107 continues to be one of the most iconic cars to ever roll off of a Mercedes-Benz production line. Loaded with executive comfort and carrying sharp, utilitarian angles, these roadsters did nothing by halves, and continue to evoke sunlit Riviera roads in enthusiasts some fifty years later.
This particular 1985 example was originally delivered in Europe with the desirable Euro bumpers and headlights before being exported to the USA. Its time thereafter in Washington State has left it in good, solid order.
The specification is highly desirable, with both a hard top and an older but still serviceable soft top included. The green interior presents well, with an intact dashboard, good seats, nice carpet and walnut inlay. All original booklets and on-board tools are present, along with a new spare wheel in the boot. While the car requires inspection before road use and local registration, it's a fine, solid example that's sure to garner plenty of attention. 2026-01-23 15.21.45-5.jpg746.58 KB
