The Volkswagen Golf GTI Mk2 marked the evolution of the iconic hot hatch, building on the success of the Mk1 with more refinement, space, and power. Introduced with a 1.8-litre 8-valve engine producing around 112bhp, it delivered engaging handling and everyday usability, quickly becoming a favourite among enthusiasts. This superb 1985 Golf GTi has undergone a two-year no expense spared restoration which has seen the car fully stripped to a bare shell including the underside. Following the bodywork a few coats of Factory Mars Red have been applied. Many new old stock original parts have been used or refurbished bringing the Mk2 Golf GTi to the fantastic condition you see here.
