This 1986 Toyota A70 Supra stands head and shoulders above practically all its siblings, as while most will only now be entering collections, this one has been cherished from day one. The original owner, a Mr M Willis of West Sussex acquired the Supra through Toyota, Redhill Surrey on 18th August 1987, adding the car to their small collection. And that’s where it would remain - until now.
This car has just 19,572 miles on the clock, a substantial history file dating back to the original sales invoice and dealer correspondence as well as an impeccable MOT record. The vendor assures us it’s in “time warp” condition throughout, with barely any indication of its age besides those oh-so ‘80s angular proportions and of course, the pop-up headlamps…

The History and Paperwork

- The doors fit well, as does the boot and bonnet while all panels seem to align nicely
- A mere glance at the underside and inside the wheel arches suggests this car has seldom been exposed to any moisture as the factory finish looks very smart

- We’re advised that all the cabin electrics appear to work as they should, including the original radio and air-conditioning
- The seats and controls look remarkably well-preserved with no heavy wear to speak of
- The carpets appear in fine order, as does the boot lining

The vendor remarks that “the paintwork is superb, and the interior is like new with no visible wear or patina”. And indeed, it’s hard to fault such a well-preserved car as this. The ultra-low mileage has clearly had its part to play, as has the fact it’s been dry-stored since new. It would appear everything works as intended inside the cabin and the vendor tells us that this car even smells new! It’s superbly presented throughout in readiness for its next owner.

Lift the bonnet and you’ll find a supremely original engine bay, complete with numerous original stickers and a straight-six in exceedingly clean condition. The vendor states that the engine starts readily and runs well, while the four-speed automatic gearbox selects ratios smoothly. There are no advisories on the current MOT or any apparent issues to report.
