Florida import with 44,314 reportedly warranted miles
Advisory-free MOT until 29th April 2027
Range-topping US-spec 5.6-litre V8
The Appeal
Nicknamed "the German Corvette", the 560 SL offered the biggest engine ever fitted to Mercedes-Benz's celebrated R107 SL range.
Built exclusively for the North the US market, to satisfy the Americans' insatiable appetite for cubic inches, the 560 SL was never officially offered in Europe, lending it a certain distinction on this side of the Atlantic.
This left-hand drive example was sourced from Florida, where years of warm, dry conditions tend to preserve bodywork and mechanical components alike. The current owner has had the car for approximately three years before importing it to the UK in 2026, where it has since passed MOT. With 44,314 miles on the odometer, which the vendor tells us is warranted, this 560 SL appears to have been sparingly used throughout its life. The vendor states the vehicle is in very good condition throughout and that it drives very well.image.png928.01 KB
