The Appeal
The Rallye G60 is one of the most sought-after Volkswagen Golf variants ever produced, created as a homologation special for Group A rallying. With only 5,000 examples built between 1989-1991, this supercharged G60 model featured distinctive box-flared arches, a unique front end, and syncro four-wheel drive system that set it apart from standard Golf GTIs of the era.
This 1989 example benefits from tasteful performance upgrades with a Stage 4 setup, while maintaining its distinctive Rallye character. Having received a comprehensive respray and interior retrim in recent years, along with regular maintenance and servicing, this represents an opportunity to acquire a well-sorted example of this increasingly collectable homologation special.
