Hello, has the electrical wiring around the engine been replaced with wiring that is no longer made from biodegradable material?

Dear Livio Olivotto, just to let you know: Mercedes S 600/600 SEL with the M120 V12 is affected by the well-known biodegradable wiring issue. The main engine wiring harness, the body-mounted harness and the internal wiring in both electronic throttle bodies should be checked. Heat and age causes the insulation to crack and crumble, potentially leading to rough running, ASR warnings, limp mode, stalling or even damage to control units. Unless there are invoices proving that the harnesses and throttle bodies have already been rebuilt or replaced with upgraded parts, I would assume that this work may still be required. Cheers Bruno
