Extensively recommissioned at significant time and cost
The Appeal
Originally intended as a replacement for the 911, the 928 was a front-engined tourer with a difference. Beyond having Stuttgart's tenents of excellent build quality and agile drivability, these cars boasted a futuristic visage with pop-up headlights and smooth, slick bodywork that looked fast when standing still. It's one of the great underdogs of the Stuttgart fraternity, and is increasingly being picked up by enthusiasts who are discovering just how good it really is.
This 1992 example is finished in a rare special-order cobalt blue and has covered just 62,100 miles from new. It comes with a complete MOT history from new, including all old-style certificates, providing full verification of its mileage. The current keeper has extensively recommissioned the car, and proudly notes that it's in collector's condition.image.png1.47 MB
