Believed to be the only XJS convertible built in Primrose Pearl
Excellent service and maintenance record
Just 49,453 miles from new
The Appeal
When the XJS was in its golden age, they were one of the most aspirational grand tourers on the market on the market. During '93 and '94, they were only growing more so, and the well-to-do customer was offered the Insignia trim if they were happy to add a whopping 10% to their car's order value.
In return, your car was packed with plenty of extra features and comforts, and was hand finished by SVO. Top-notch upholstery and Wilton carpets matched up impressively with Birdseye Maple and electrically operated features. Very few XJS models benefitted from this high-end treatment. Reports vary, but between 57 and 64 cars were built across coupé and cabriolet platforms. The very definition of exclusive.
There was, of course, an impressive list of colours, but most of the Insignia cars left the factory in their common hues of navy blue, black, red - the usual. As a result, it appears that this one's rarely-spotted Primose Hue is the only time it's never been applied to an Insignia convertible.
Accompanied by an impressive maintenance record, a very low, warranted mileage of 49,453 miles from new. this incredibly well-kept car is ready and waiting for its lucky new owner. You may never see an XJS like this one ever again! nNHUvbmfmrX77rWRg260TLLXffQI4zFXMnCaX4Iv.jpeg343.81 KB
