The Appeal
There aren’t many classic four seater convertibles and there are even fewer that you’d comfortable jump in and trust to transport you to the South of France this summer. But that is the exactly the promise offered by this E320 thanks to its impeccable A124 engineering.
This 1994 car will make light work of long distances thanks to its ultra reliable M104 3.2L straight six engine and long-legged 5G-TRONIC auto box. It is a really handsome example, finished in light blue metallic with darker blue ‘Sacco planks,’ roof and leather cabin. With under 94,000 miles showing it is barely run in for an A124, which is reflected in the condition.
The vendor tells us that he acquired the car in 2018 from an equally fastidious Mercedes Club member. It has always been garaged in recent years. The thick history file dates back to 1994 and shows recent work that will appeal to knowledgeable enthusiasts of these cars. This includes replacing the wiring loom, a recommended Club repair, and fitting a reconditioned gearbox. The last service was in late 2023 with less than 2,000 miles covered since. The exhaust received minor repairs in 2025.
With advisory-free MOT to October 2026, this fine A124 is ready to enjoy this summer.
The vendor says:
“Car drives lovely & real tourer that could be driven down to the South of France with no issues. Very powerful, quick car, not many 320's about, especially in this colour scheme. Electric roof a real bonus. Always admired by onlookers & other enthusiasts. 4 adults can travel comfortably, reluctantly selling as getting used to rarely nice opportunity for someone else.”
