The Appeal
The Z3 is rapidly garnering interest from classic fans because it provides a more usable, reliable alternative to established older roadsters, yet without sacrificing character and style. The one you really want is the torquey 2.8L straight six which has performance to best classic 60s bruisers like the Austin Healey and Jaguar E-Type.
This Cosmos Schwarz 1998 car retains the original, purer pre-facelift style and is fitted with the rare 4spd automatic gearbox, making it ideal for long, relaxing road trips. It comes with a matching factory hard top and is fitted with the extended leather package that means the beige trim covers dashboard, doors and console as well as seats. The interior is also trimmed with optional dark wood veneers.
The car has been dry stored since 2019 and the vendor recommends a service. There are a few points to note in the photos, but of course this car is 28 years old so that is inevitable. We are told it carries UK registration but comes with customs clearance and COC documentation. The vendor states that it would only need German TUV inspection certification to obtain German registration.
