The Appeal
The marriage of Aston’s beautiful DB7 design and its new V12 5.9L engine creates perhaps the perfect modern GT classic. Few cars of the last 30 years have looked so good and been endowed with such a charismatic engine. Of the 2,059 V12 Volantes built, just 778 were assembled in RHD.
This early example, built in 1999, is one of the nicest we’ve seen in a long while. Painted in the popular combination of Mendip Blue with Parchment leather, accented in blue, it is a very low mileage car that has been with the current keeper since 2013. The total mileage is just 43,000 miles, which the condition reflects.
Since acquiring the car the vendor has entrust it to Chiltern Aston Martin for regular work. The Vendor since acquiring has had the car maintained by RS Williams a highly respected Heritage Dealer followed by Chiltern Aston also a highly respected Heritage dealer. The last service was in March 2026 when the car received £3,200 of work. The current MOT run to March 2027. The appropriate private plate comes with the car.
