The Appeal
Alfa Romeo’s beautiful Nuvola GT concept never made it to showrooms (boo hoo) but it did gift buyers with one thing: the gorgeous Azzurro Nuvola paintwork of this 2002 V6 Spider.
Nuvola in Italian translates as ‘cloud’, and it is well named. Few Spiders got this finish, and on this car, it is well preserved thanks to spending a lifetime in Japan, where salt-free roads and cossetting maintenance are the order of the day. It arrived in the UK earlier this year and has covered only 66,000 miles.
Beyond the evocative paintwork, this car is the 916 you want - a later ‘Phase 2’ car with improved interior, 24V version of the V6 engine and the later 6spd manual box.
We are told this car has been well maintained and, aside from some minor cosmetic points to note, is in great condition. It comes to market with a lengthy, advisory-free MOT.
