The Appeal
After fumbling the hot hatch ball through the '90s, Ford finally came good with the utterly brilliant Mk1 Focus ST. With a chassis tuned by dynamics supremo Richard Parry-Jones, the new car set the new benchmark for family car driving dynamics.
The earliest cars are now approaching their 25th birthdays, making now a great time to get into the ST170 before it seemingly inevitably follows the values of other Fast Fords. This 2003 car is one you can properly use and enjoy before perhaps improving it down the line. It is a tidy, factory-standard car in popular Magnum Grey metallic whose lengthy MOT confirms it is structurally sound.
There are a few cosmetic points to note in the photos, but nothing to stop you jumping in and discovering a car that many rate as one of the best quick Fords of all time.
