The Appeal
There had been supercharged XJR Jaguars before, but the X350 version was the first to be based on an all-new car. Mixing clever lightweight aluminium technology, that delivered a surprisingly agile drive, with heritage-infused styling makes these cars the last of the ‘classic’ Jag super saloons.
Alongside the clever aluminium body and chassis, the cars got the excellent AJ34S 4.2L V8 whose supercharger pushed power to a supercar-bating 400bhp. While this car could certainly worry a few Italian exotics, judging by the condition and history file it seems highly unlikely it’s ever been driven in anger. Finished in Zircon Blue with a rare two-tone cream and black interior, it is a well-presented example.
The vendor acquired the car in 2024 and has continued the previous keepers’ emphasis on maintenance. The service book shows regular stamps to 72,000 miles and the vendor has added a further service immediately prior to sale. In May 2025 the car went to a Jaguar specialist for a brake booster kit, water pump and heater pump a hose, the bill topping £1,300.
This is a really well-presented example of a very capable ULEZ-compliant super saloon. It comes with the added reassurance of an advisory-free MOT to July 2026.
The vendor says:
“This car is not only beautiful to look at but combines effortless power/comfort. It is wonderful to just poodle in & the sound of the V8 Supercharged engine is music to the ears when you put your foot down. This in my view was the last of the great Jaguar saloons.”
